UPVC welding machine operator — Knox County

Ideal candidate: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop Your main tasks: • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
