Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Washington County, Georgia. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Day to day you will attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; read lift plans and method statements before starting; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads.
