Immediate opening: flatlock machine operator (Maryland)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Garrett County, Maryland. On a typical shift you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
