Elevator repair technician • Calhoun County, West Virginia

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Calhoun County, West Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake What we are looking for: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
