Framing carpenter • Bristol County, Massachusetts

We are recruiting: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Bristol County, Massachusetts. You will be based on a residential housebuilding project. On the job you will handle: • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height Performance bonus on top of base pay.
