Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Obowo, Imo State. What we are looking for: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Day-to-day duties: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
