Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundworker in Warren County, Kentucky. You will be based on a road and bridge project. What we are looking for: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage The role involves break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns.
