Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in New York County, New York. The job is at a shipyard. Requirements: • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage • Able to read basic scaffold drawings The role involves: • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
