Pastry baker — Polk County

Now hiring: we are hiring a pastry baker in Polk County, Tennessee. You will be based at an in-store supermarket bakery. On a typical shift you will decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them. Requirements: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Food handler / hygiene certificate Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
