Horizontal milling machine operator — Newton County

Now hiring: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Newton County, Georgia. You will be based at an automotive components factory. On a typical shift you will measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing. What we are looking for: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
