Join our team: we are hiring a road roller operator in Gordon County, Georgia. The job is in an open-cast mine. The role involves keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels. Ideal candidate: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Full-time, day shift. $32 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
