Horizontal milling machine operator — Sullivan County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a busy machine shop. The role involves machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
