Now hiring: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Crockett County, Tennessee. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Day to day you will read and interpret the load chart before every lift; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits.
