Vacancy available: single needle operator (Gombe State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a single needle operator in Dukku, Gombe State. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension Ideal candidate: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. ₦700 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
