Plant operator — Kankara

Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator in Kankara, Katsina State. The role involves set up and start the machine as per the job card; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches. You should have: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
