Pipe TIG welder • Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. You will work on a structural steel site. On a typical shift you will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Full-time with occasional weekends.
