Road roller operator • Lauderdale County, Alabama

We are recruiting: we are hiring a road roller operator in Lauderdale County, Alabama. Ideal candidate: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise The role involves: • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels 2+ years on the tools preferred.
