Formwork carpenter • Cross County, Arkansas

Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Cross County, Arkansas. You will work on a busy high-rise construction site. The role involves read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss. Requirements: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
