Sewing machine operator • Ahoada East, Rivers State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Ahoada East, Rivers State. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. The role involves: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Full-time with occasional weekends.
