Vacancy available: scaffolding charge hand (Illinois)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Logan County, Illinois. The job is on a busy construction site. You should have: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold The role involves: • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips 5+ years on the tools preferred.
