Cnc setter-operator • Lincoln County, Wisconsin

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Lincoln County, Wisconsin. You will work at a busy machine shop. On the job you will handle: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
