Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Davis County, Iowa. On the job you will handle: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
