Great opportunity: we are hiring a glazing assistant in City of Chesapeake, Virginia. The role involves secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead; fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames; replace cracked or broken window panes; read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts; install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades. Ideal candidate: • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Own basic hand tools an advantage 3+ years on the tools preferred.
