Solid plasterer — Macon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a solid plasterer in Macon County, Georgia. You will be based at a new-build housing development. Day-to-day duties: • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster Ideal candidate: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel Part-time with flexible hours.
