Now hiring: we are hiring a HVAC-R technician in Audubon County, Iowa. You will work at a supermarket cold-chain site. What we are looking for: • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC Day-to-day duties: • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
