VMC operator — Dukes County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a VMC operator in Dukes County, Massachusetts. You will work in a toolroom. You will monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production. What we are looking for: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
