Laundry presser • Etche, Rivers State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a laundry presser in Etche, Rivers State. The role involves: • Give each garment a final press before packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work 5+ years on the tools preferred.
