Immediate opening: formwork erector (Iowa)

Join our team: we are hiring a formwork erector in Calhoun County, Iowa. Day to day you will de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour. Requirements: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
