Steam press operator — Mercer County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steam press operator in Mercer County, Ohio. You will be based in a busy laundry. On the job you will handle: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
