MIG welder — Mashi

Vacancy available: we are hiring a MIG welder in Mashi, Katsina State. The job is at an automobile body shop. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test The role involves: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
