Bricklayer — Marquette County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Marquette County, Michigan. You will be based on a commercial construction site. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day You will erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience.
