Urgent requirement: we are hiring a confectioner in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. Your main tasks: • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them You should have: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Basic cake decorating and piping skills At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
