QC inspector — Arlington County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a QC inspector in Arlington County, Virginia. Requirements: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor Day-to-day duties: • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer Six days a week, one day off.
