Requirements: • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding Day-to-day duties: • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
