Cold room technician — Nevada County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cold room technician in Nevada County, California. You should have: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC On the job you will handle: • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter Six days a week, one day off.
