Now hiring: we are hiring a crane operator in Benton County, Arkansas. The job is at a road-building project. Requirements: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance The role involves keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
