Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Lee County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules The role involves: • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
