Formwork erector — Lexington County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork erector in Lexington County, South Carolina. The job is on a residential tower site. The role involves: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing 1+ years on the tools preferred. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
