Immediate opening: argon arc welder (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Effingham County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
