We are recruiting: we are hiring a production line operator in East Dunbartonshire, Scotland. The job is in a CNC machine shop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery On the job you will handle: • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
