Restoration bricklayer wanted in Coffee County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Coffee County, Alabama. The job is on a commercial construction site. On a typical shift you will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Full-time with occasional weekends.
