Great opportunity: argon welding operator (Adamawa State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Mubi South, Adamawa State. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard On the job you will handle: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise ₦5,500 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
