Production welder • Harrison County, Kentucky

Immediate opening: we are hiring a production welder in Harrison County, Kentucky. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test The role involves tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
