Safety officer — Wasco County

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety officer in Wasco County, Oregon. You will work at a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Day-to-day duties: • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
