Lift technician — North Yorkshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift technician in North Yorkshire, England. You will work on a lift modernisation project. Your main tasks: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Full-time with occasional weekends.
