Landscape gardener — Makoda

Immediate opening: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Makoda, Kano State. You will be based at a private estate garden. The role involves: • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage 1+ years on the tools preferred.
