Single needle operator — Rutherford County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a single needle operator in Rutherford County, Tennessee. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. The role involves: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line You should have: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
