Banksman — Doddridge County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a banksman in Doddridge County, West Virginia. The job is at a power plant. You will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; read lift plans and method statements before starting. What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $2,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
