Your main tasks: • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees Ideal candidate: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges Rotating shifts.
