Immediate opening: bodyshop painter (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bodyshop painter in Knox County, Illinois. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Able to read and match factory paint codes The role involves: • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
